"With deft fingers, the fly angler weaves a tale of deception through the art of dubbing loops. A delicate dance begins as strands of fine dubbing material are intricately looped onto the thread, creating a textured canvas that mimics the nuances of aquatic insects. With each wrap, the fly takes form, a lifelike illusion of prey. The dubbing loop technique transforms the ordinary into the extraordinary, giving life to a fly that beckons the discerning trout from its watery realm."

FIG 1. Now make a dubbing loop. FIG 2. If you would like to use an EP brush instead of a dubbing loop, see this photo.
Tie in your Orange tipped Pearl Sili legs as show in the picture to the right or below (on mobile). Space them out as evenly as possible. In the next step you'll be advancing the EP brush forward. Keep your dubbing loop out of the way. I usually wrap it around the shaft of the vise.
Cut yourself 6 pieces of FTD Tan Congo Hair (You can purchase it here) about an inch long and place them in the dubbing loop. Spread them out a bit. You want to make this pretty sparse.
Spin that dubbing loop and start wrapping it towards the eye of the hook.. Do not wrap them tightly. One wrap in between leg sets is best. The key here is to make sure the orange thread shows through the Congo Hair. It literally glows in the water. Tie the dubbing loop off just behind the eyes. Use a brush and comb the fibers down as much as possible. I usually trim the top and thin out the sides a bit. Use a very sharp pair of scissors and DO NOT CUT OFF ANY LEGS. :)
FIG 1. Place a tuft of tan craft fur or Artic Fox on the top of the fly that just passes the hook. Notice how you can see the orange thread. That's exactly what we want.
FIG 2. You'll notice in the final picture, the body is more sparse compared to figure one. I trimmed the sides pretty hard.
